This is confusing as the (perhaps self-published) Prefab Green from 2006 was written by Michelle Kaufmann and Molly McGrath. Does anyone know if this newly published edition differs from the original in any way (hopefully better image quality)?

Good question! We contacted MKD and here's what they said:
"The 2006 self-published book was more of a portfolio. The new book, published by Gibbs Smith, is the story of the evolution of Michelle’s work. It also goes into much more detail on green design and green living in general. It features more finished projects than the old version, as well."
